Offline mode

The internet drops. Service doesn’t.

Made for places where the connection comes and goes, not just for the odd outage. The Android till keeps selling, the kitchen keeps cooking, and nothing is counted twice when the internet comes back.

Included with Qavyo, on the Qavyo POS app for Android.

The kitchen

Kitchen screens keep getting orders.

When the internet is gone, the till itself becomes the kitchen’s link. Kitchen screens on the same shop Wi-Fi find it and keep showing new orders, and the cooks’ taps are saved and sent on later.

What keeps working offline.

Orders

Dine-in, takeaway and delivery orders, with sizes and add-ons, on your normal menu.

Payments

Cash and card payments are recorded and the bill closes as usual.

Kitchen and receipt printing

The Android till is its own print hub, so tickets print without the internet.

Order numbers

Numbers carry on in sequence, so tickets and receipts still match.

One clean sync

When the internet is back, everything is sent once: no double sales, no lost orders.

What happens when the internet goes.

Nobody at the counter has to do anything different.

  1. 1

    The internet drops

The till keeps taking orders and payments. Order numbers carry on as normal.

  2. 2

    The kitchen keeps cooking

Tickets print straight from the till, and kitchen screens get orders over the shop Wi-Fi.

  3. 3

    It comes back

Everything sold offline syncs on its own. Each order, payment and tap is counted once.

Talk to us ›
Which devices work offline?

The Qavyo POS app on an Android tablet or phone. The web POS in a browser needs the internet.

Can the kitchen screens work offline too?

Yes, if they are on the same shop Wi-Fi as the Android till. The till sends them new orders and saves their taps until the internet is back.

Will sales be counted twice when it syncs?

No. Every offline order and payment carries its own ID, so it is only ever recorded once, even if the connection drops again during the sync.

Does offline mode cost extra?

No. It comes with Qavyo.
